I finished the little people and the board. I ended up donating them to my family reunion's auction. I'm planning on making more so I will get a picture of it later. It wasn't too hard, once you get the hang of it; just time consuming.  There are a lot of little details, but I think that end result is worth it.

Project started

I started cutting out my first batch of little people today. Tomorrow I plan to cut the board and to drill the holes in everything. So far the little people are not that hard to cut out, they just take patience to cut around all the little curves. They are nowhere near perfect, but with a little sanding they should look great.

it had to start

I've been trying to start up a project to keep me from going crazy.  My sister Marilee came up with this family Birthday Chart that was super fun and cute.  We like it so much that we thought other people might want them too!  Woodworking is not something that I thought a mother of three could get into, but I was wrong; its been a lot of fun.  I also thought it would be fun to start this blog so that other aspiring craftswomen like myself can learn from my success and mistakes.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
